Day 20

“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the everlasting way.”

Psalm 139:23-24

Prayer:
Father, you are my God and you know everything about me. You see what thoughts and beliefs I have about you, myself, and my life that are not based on truth. I have blind spots when it comes to seeing things clearly, but you have perfect vision. Thank you for wanting me to see you, myself, and my life through your eyes. Father, open my eyes so that I can see clearly any thoughts, beliefs, and ways within me that are not based on truth. Reveal to me any ways or paths that are pulling me away from you. Help me to see you, myself, and others through your eyes. Your word says “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, because the law of the Spirt of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2). Thank you that when you reveal thoughts, beliefs, and ways in me that are not of you that you do not condemn me. You have set me free so that I can live a new life through the power of the Spirit within me. I choose to trust you to lead me in your everlasting way. In Jesus’ name, amen.
